Requirements profile:

The requirements range from simple vectorization of analog network maps to the construction of complex networks with contributions from different disciplines. At INSELLCO we are open to discussing requirements that deviate from the description above.

Vectorization of electricity, water, gas, telecom and other networks: This can involve either simple frontal digitization (vectorization) after georeferencing of multiple maps or the construction of networks based on given dimensions or survey measurements in a specific GIS application.

Creation of the network in the given GIS system taking into account various measurements distributed across data sets such as as-built plans, survey plans, sketches, circuit diagrams, service plans, etc. When creating the networks, specified rules must be observed. The creation of the complete network data is carried out taking into account location, object types, attribute data and object relationships, etc.

By considering various input data sets such as as-built plans, survey plans, sketches, schematic plans, service plans, etc. and following the rules specified by the network operators in specific GIS, the complete network data is verified and corrected regarding its location, types, properties, relationships, etc.

Homogenization or cleansing of datasets related to networks: Due to some fundamental changes such as change of cadastral basis, data migration or merging of different datasets, network-related GIS data are disturbed. The data must be readjusted or modified or homogenized/cleaned in target systems.
