Cities and communities (municipality) require the precise determination of different area types by evaluating the multitude of input data. Specialist cadastres usually contain inventories of objects together with the graphic representation of objects in geospace. Depending on the requirements, specific details of land areas are recorded with different mapping technologies. We post-process the data obtained from various mapping technologies.

We have expertise in delineating sealed areas with high geometric accuracy using digital photogrammetry. The evaluation is usually three-dimensional stereoscopic according to specific rules for each subject register. However, we also accept orders for updating the existing databases in 2D through the use of geographic information systems. In addition to evaluating and updating the sealed areas in 2D and 3D, we also support our customers in processing property-related data, street space, green areas, trees and crematorium, etc.

We receive requests for processing aerial photos based on given specifications with high geometrical accuracy in 2D or 3D. The types of characteristics to be recorded differ from project to project.

Most requirements involve the three-dimensional stereo evaluation of sealed areas for cities or municipalities using digital photogrammetry. Some requirements include positionally accurate 2D post-processing of the sealed surfaces to see the changes over time.

Further requirements are the recording of different types of cadastres and associated objects. For example, recording of green areas together with additional inventory data (e.g. trees, lamps, benches, playground equipment) based on given specifications.

Some projects require us to follow specific digitization instructions, or feature catalogues, to be considered when evaluating areas, area features or cadastral data. Sometimes clients instruct us to use tools specific to the cadastral type to record these objects.

Sometimes we also have to deliver special products together with the three-dimensional stereo evaluation, e.g. orthophoto, DTM (elevation models). Requirements are similar to the creation of 3D city models (e.g. development of roofscapes).

Some requirements include reviewing, editing and updating existing GIS cadastral records in relation to the latest data. These projects are regarded as “change detection” that must be checked on buildings, bodies of water, sports and play areas, trees or similar objects.

In some cases, the customer requests that we check and correct the object classes and the associated inventories for errors after processing the data. This is a highly specialized task that requires the development of a correct and consistent digital GIS/CAD dataset.

We also need to review and edit inventory data based on existing orthoimages for correct interpretation of objects, attribute data and their relationships to each other.

The typical project tasks consist of aerial triangulation and three-dimensional stereoscopic recording of mostly punctiform or flat objects with high accuracy. These objects usually include cadastral information with various factual data that can be assigned or updated.

We offer three-dimensional stereoscopic evaluation of aerial photos of various objects (point, line and area objects). We also classify these objects by given cadastral type and object classes.

We have developed expertise in the photogrammetric re-recording of the sealed areas according to different criteria and updating the sealing data. We optimize this data and check it for all kinds of errors before delivery.

Comparison of the processed data with cadastre and different sealing classes, e.g. determination of the roof landscape according to functional classes (green roofs, solar, etc.).

Collection of technical cadastre and the associated infrastructure with information to ensure high geometric accuracy. The accuracy of the output depends on the quality of the input data (e.g. resolution of images).

We also offer planimetric and three-dimensional stereoscopic evaluation of a variety of airborne and terrestrial input data. We specialize in capturing road infrastructure from high-resolution and georeferenced traffic images as image sequences of road traffic.

We are able to use a combination of photogrammetric compilation, image processing techniques and GIS-based mapping methods to extract cadastral data from images.

We are equally comfortable with topographic mapping (updating) and checking the data for location accuracy, tilting and topography issues.

We are specialized in recording the green area cadastre and cemetery cadastre according to different object type catalogs in 3D.

Recording and updating of the tree register and tree locations in public space according to different object type catalogs in 3D (height, position, trunk width, crown width, etc.).

Typically, our customers require the rule-based and dimension-based updating and construction of energy, water, and gas supply networks, as well as the updating of these networks with updated information sourced from various digital and analogue sources such as survey plans, sketches, and schematic plans.

We specialize in correcting and updating networks, optimizing the quality of datasets, and checking them for redundant or counterfeit dimensions, inner workings, circuit diagrams, and more. In addition, we check and validate networks or their elements with regard to dimensions, geometry, topology, factual data, and network elements such as labels, QS, and protective tubes.

After data integration, we may also review and update networks and their relationships to the objects, checking and editing associated elements, geometric and attributive relationships in target GIS systems.

Sometimes, customers require us to check and correct the networks for errors after migration. This is a highly specialized task that requires a thorough understanding of the network.

Our services also include simple vectorization/digitization of existing network plans, such as those for electricity, water, gas, street lighting, district heating, and telecom, from analogue scanned and georeferenced images to a digital network. Georeferencing tasks may also be required.

Other requirements include homogenization of the network, verification, correction, and updating of the datasets based on given coordinate systems, and development of a correct and consistent digital GIS/CAD dataset.

Finally, we can create a digital network plan for a given area of interest (e.g., large construction sites) by digitizing all network types of different network operators with different specifications.”
